About Kat...

Kat got her start as a creative artist in the Cincinnati area fresh out of art school. It wasn't long before she made her way to Los Angeles and expanded her creative skills into the field of makeup artistry.
Beginning as a freelance makeup artist with the Prescriptives line in the Nordstrom stores of the Los Angeles area, Kat combined her knowledge of color theory and her newly learned makeup techniques to create pleasing, personalized looks for her clients.
After moving back to Cincinnati, Kat became the Bobbi Brown makeup artist for Saks Fifth Avenue. This allowed her to expand her knowledge of professional technique and establish herself locally as a personal and professional makeup artist.
The connections and reputation established at Saks led Kat to decide the time was right for going out on her own. As a freelance makeup artist, she took full advantage of the freedom to branch out to other lines, exploring and utilizing new products to create truly personal, individual looks. She has freelanced for Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, La Mer, Chanel,  Sicily and Estee Lauder and trained her eye to work with a wide range of ages, skin types and ethnicity's.
Kat’s focus is on-location makeup artistry, going to the client's home or wedding preparation locale where she is able to service her clientele's more personal needs.
By incorporating the airbrush to her high end kit comprised of top brands and long wearing makeup, Kat has made herself an asset to her clients. Whether they prefer the traditional method of liquid makeup or want to try the impeccable look of airbrush, the over all look will be flawless. Kat also applies a finishing spray at the end of each session to hold everything in place until the end of your evening.
Repeat clients and word of mouth keep bridal parties regularly booked in her schedule. However Kat also provides makeup services for commercial shoots, special events, formal dances (prom, homecoming), pageants and senior pictures as well as lessons on how to create your favorite look.
